SamuraiGeeks.org traces its identity to the SuSE Samurai Gecko logo once used on omnitec.net.

This site reuses that lineage as a signal rather than nostalgia: open systems, hands-on engineering, and a slightly opinionated point of view about how technology should serve people instead of trapping them.

The mission is straightforward:

  • publish useful knowledge about the open source community
  • explain Linux and infrastructure operations in practical terms
  • describe the services we provide without marketing fog

As the site grows, this section can also carry the fuller history of the Samurai Gecko identity and the work behind it.
